Assuming covid restriction changes do not adversely effect our ability to run in person sessions, we will be returning on the 4th January and are open to new members. The additional procedures/restrictions detailed below remain in place for the time being to minimise the risks associated with training which is by its nature requires close physical contact.

Actions required by all BEFORE attending a session if you are an existing member

  1. Inform Sensei of you intention to attend
  2. Complete the online Personal & Household Risk Assesment
  3. Renew your TJJF license yourself or ask Sensei to renew it on your behalf (please do this at least 6 hours prior to the session, payment will be taken at the session)
  4. Perform a lateral flow test or PCR test on the day of the session of the session - do not attend the session if you test positive or if not LFD tests are available! (order lateral flow testing kit)
  5. Seniors - be prepared to demonstrate your vaccination status (paper vaccination record or QR code via NHS app) From the 1st February 2 vaccine doses are required, From 1st March 2 doses + booster are required

  3. Complete the online licence application form - you are not committing to joining or any kind of payment but we are unable to allow you to train until this form has been completed. Make sure you provide a mobile number on the form and you should receive a confirmation text when you submit the form that you will need to show at the session

  5. Seniors (18+) - be prepared to demonstrate your vaccination status (paper vaccination record or QR code via NHS app) From the 1st February 2 vaccine doses are required, From 1st March 2 doses + booster are required

N.B. failure to complete these actions before arriving at the session will mean you are not able to participate.

At the venue

  1. Arrive ready to train if possible, toilet/changing area will be one in one out
  2. Wait in the back carpark, maintain social distancing, wear a mask unless medically exempt
  3. Complete the verbal and temperature screening process
  4. Sanitise hands before entering the dojo
  5. Only training students will be allowed in the dojo

During the session

  1. Maintain 2m social distancing unless actively contact training
  2. No shouting
  3. Masks are optional
  4. Maintain training bubbles if instructed to do so

At the end of the session

  1. Sanitize hands and feet
  2. No congregating, maintain social distancing
  3. Masks mandatory unless medically exempt
  4. Parents to wait in the back car park
  5. If you develop COVID symptoms after the session you must inform the clubs COVID-19 officer (Sensei)
