2021 - Virtual sessions only for the foreseeable future
Unfortunately, due to the continuing restrictions of COVID-19 we will only be holding online virtual training sessions for the foreseeable future. It is currently our expectation that dojo sessions are unlikely to resume until a sufficient number of members have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. While it may not be quite the same as dojo training it is really useful for your, fitness and muscle condition and it I am doing my best to try and devise ways of keeping your Jiu Jitsu body and mind ticking over until we are finally able to get back to the dojo.
To join the virtual sessions you will need approximately 2m x 1m of clear floor space.
You may also find it useful to have...
- a pair of shoes you are not wearing (to use as position references)
- your Jitsu belt (or something similar)
- a bottle of water
- a towel
You do not need to join with video/audio if you do not have the capability or prefer not to. However the more people who do the more it will feel like a club session.
You do not need to wear a Gi.
You do not need to be a current active member of the club to join in.
You will need the Zoom client installed on your chosen computer/device and it should work on pretty much everything. If you have not received the meeting details you can contact me via the contact link in the main menu to request them.
